People “like” legal services programs, but what is that actually doing to support an organization’s bottom line? This free LSC-TIG funded training will explore how organizations can move constituents up a ladder of engagement from a simple “like” to actually get them to do something for the organization, such as asking a question, attending an event, volunteering and, yes, even donating. It’s possible to get constituents to do all of these things as a result of social media -- this session explores how.

This free LSC TIG-funded training will help legal services organizations better understand how to use data visualization and dashboards to make key organizational metrics more accessible to management, staff and stakeholders. Panelists will outline what has worked for other organizations, including identifying key indicators that should be tracked, strategies for compiling data from different systems, and approaches for putting it all together in a visual dashboard.

LSC’s TIG conference is the only national event focused exclusively on the use of technology in the legal aid and access to justice communities. The conference provides a unique opportunity to learn about effective uses of technology in legal aid, network with a national community of colleagues, and cultivate project ideas that could lead to successful TIG applications.
